Object and oneself

In English, there is a word "object," which means both an object or a material thing. People define themselves and expand their boundaries through objects. For this reason, "object" also carries the meaning of opposition. The concept of unity between nature and humanity, where one forgets both self and material things, suggests that self and material objects shouldn't be separated. Both interpretations are fascinating, and I had these two ideas in mind while creating this painting.
